You will be amazed at how easy this dessert is. Although it looks decadent, the main ingredients are plant milk, sugar and the vegan liquid chickpea eggs from the earlier video. Whip up this dessert when you want a creamy sweet custard. It’s hard to tell its vegan. This recipe fills one medium ramekin, or two small ones. The recipe doubles easily. For best results, refrigerate overnight before serving.

Not everyone has a blow torch in their kitchen, but I found a great trick. Before placing the dish in the oven, sprinkle brown sugar or turbinado sugar over the top. This will create the brown top you see in the video. Although it won’t be a crackling sugar crust, it can still give you a glossy top for a rich looking dessert for minimal effort.

This quick recipe is for making liquid vegan eggs. Its super simple and easy to make. Just mix equal parts chickpea flour with water and add a tablespoon of flour, and some salt and pepper.

Fry, scramble or make an omelet with it. Just be sure to use a non stick pan or a well oiled pan so it doesn’t stick. This ingredient is used a lot in other vegan recipes, so make this a staple in your kitchen. You’ll never have to use another chicken egg again. This is also a great egg replacement in desserts too. See the other links below if you like this video. Serve it with the Vegan Apple “Pork” Sausage recipe.
